My favorite time of the year...and I'm sure I'm not alone with this feeling.I have so many ideas, goals for this holiday season that I feel I'm already behind. Gifts, cards, tags, decoration for the wreath, garland, the swag for the front door and of course the Christmas tree! 

I started with a few cards from svgcuts-files that I cut with my Silhouette Cameo. These are not your standard A2 sized cards and there are many layers to them so I made individual envelop-boxes for them to fit in (with my new  envelop punch-board)!

Then I tried myself at "handmade" cards: die-cutting, stamping, inking, embellishing, the lot. I used PTI tree die, two circle dies for the snowman and Glimmer Texture paste (Strukturschnee) for the snow effect on the banks, tree and snowman. Sentiment's also from PTI  (Bells and Boughs stamp set).

Next on my list to-make were place-cards and napkin rings and decoration for the Christmas-table. I've only completed the place cards so far (free cutting file from Birds-cards, Christmas Pudding) with my own color-combo to match the table theme. Soon I'll be working on the rest of my ideas too.

I love giving and receiving handmade gifts so I promptly started on some for family and friends. I made an "explosion Christmas tree" album for my Grandma. The files are from the svgcuts December Gifts kit where you can also find the templates I used to cut out the photos as well.

And than there was a request for me to "whip up" some decoration for a bookstore's window. Now I'm not sure how these will be displayed but because most of them are hanging ornaments I just placed them on the pine tree outside my balcony to balance the blue-silver abundance with natural green and brown.

I also started to make the Christmas treats for my "little" daughter's classmates at her school as well as at her dance school!

A very easy to make "bonbon" with a few bonbons inside! They were made with the W R Memory Keepers envelop punch-board with this tutorial in mind. The only thing I added is the little ornament of sort made from the bits and pieces left by the punching process by gluing three little shapes together.

That wasn't all but I'll be back in a week or so to show you more of my Christmas preparations/decorations etc.
