«Create a Memorable Event» Series - Vendors

Social events, even if we make them as unique and tailored to us as possible, have a few key vendors that are common for all. Depending on the event itself you’ll need a few or an array of vendors to contribute to the success of the event.

For a party that is housed in a rented space, you’ll need at least the basics, like

• the event venue itself

• in-house or private (outsourced) catering

• some form of entertainment

• some form of decoration

• photographer / videographer

You might want to consider using also these types of vendors, too, if you’re planning ALL the details for a more formal event:

• lighting and sound professionals

• florist

• stationary designer

• car rental

• sommelier

• barista

• chocolatier

• musicians / dj / band

• beautician

• confectioner

• stylist

• travel agent

• accommodation

• event planner / coordinator / decorator

It goes without saying, that you won’t need EVERY vendor on this list and it should NOT be considered a complete list. It’s just a starting point for you to brainstorm based on your own event’s needs.
